About Vaagdevi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences

Vaagdevi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences is sponsored by “VISWAMBHARA EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY” established in the year 1993 with an objective of providing technical and higher education. The society was formed by dynamic and well-educated individuals to impart quality higher education in the Northern region of Telangana state.

Established in 2006, the institute has been focusing on teaching, research, and health services since its inception. The college is located in a 70-acre campus at Bollikunta (V), Khila Warangal (M), Warangal Urban (D), offering a blend of professional courses like MBA, Engineering, B.Ed, Physical Education, and more.

The institute aims to provide quality education in the field of Pharmacy and is one of the pioneer colleges affiliated with Kakatiya University. It offers B.Pharmacy (2006), M.Pharmacy (2010), Pharm.D (2011), and Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate) (2014). The college is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Postgraduate programs include M.Pharmacy in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Industrial Pharmacy, and Pharmaceutical Analysis, supported by well-qualified and trained faculty members in every department.

The college is equipped with modern infrastructure such as industry-oriented machinery rooms, well-equipped seminar halls, Wi-Fi enabled campus, banking facilities, and access to international journals. It also has experienced faculty along with renowned guest lecturers in specialized areas.
